Matte silver-coloured earrings handmade in Ban Napia, Laos, from scrap metal (possibly including bomb casings, and mostly aluminium, making them extremely lightweight).
The base part of these earrings is about 3cm long and is designed to follow the shape of the earlobe. The dangle is 3cm long.
Available with posts or clips.
AUD$42 (price includes postage and handling for orders in Australia).

These earrings were named after Sompathana (also known as Boby), Kommaly Chanthavong's eldest daughter. It was through Boby that Wilderness Bazaar founder/designer Leeyong Soo began her involvement with Kommaly's fair trade company, Mulberries, and began exploring the possibility of working with artisans in Laos.
